When you come into Pierce's Pitt, you'll now receive two corn muffins instead on one piece of corn bread... we use creamed corn in the recipe that helps maintain moisture - it also adds to flavor.

The pulled smoked chicken is the same texture as our Pork barbecue and is also marinated in Doc's Original Sauce. It has been quite a hit!

We are happy to say that folks are loving the Brunswick Stew - the volume of sales continues to rise!

NEW HOURS:
We are now open seven days a week from 11am to 9pm and are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

We are proud to announce that Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que will be a post-sponsor of the Run for the Dream in Williamsburg, Virginia on May 21 and 22, 2011.

The Boston Marathon's David McGillivray will direct the race. In addition to the half-marathon on Sunday the 22nd, the weekend will include an 8K Run/Walk on Saturday May 21. Both races will start on the campus of the College of William & Mary, wind through the Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg, and finish at William & Mary's Zable Stadium.

The half-marathon route will take runners down the Colonial Parkway toward Jamestown before returning to the City of Williamsburg and the Historic Area.

Proceeds from the Run for the Dream will benefit An Achievable Dream, a nationally recognized K-12 school dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and succeed regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, and that education can break the cycle of poverty. The race will also benefit the Wounded Warriors Programs which are dedicated to assisting and advocating for the severely wounded, ill and injured members of the armed forces and for their families.

Pierce's will serve approximately 6000 people... 3000 each day. All food will be distributed under a tent in the Sunken Gardens on the campus of the College of William & Mary for both events.

If you plan to attend either event, please come see us!
